Principles of Abundance and Prosperity – Part 1

This week we look at abundance and prosperity and how these can be achieved. Most of us are keen to achieve abundance and prosperity but without the right knowledge and direction, it is impossible.

I believe that this will be a 3 part series as I do not want to write a very long post so that it is easy for all to read and understand.

If you are yet to subscribe to our list, please do it today. To thank you for doing that, you will receive a free electronic copy of an international bestseller that I am sure will change your life.

Let us look at the first 3 principles of abundance and prosperity today:

1. Give the Best

Everything you give comes back to you in multiple folds. It does not matter whether you believe it or not. The good book says:

“Give and it will come back to you, good measures; pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give to you”

Focus on the people around you and find way in which you can help them rather than how they can help you. It does not matter your position but if you want to be a leader, then this is also critical leadership principle; selflessness. Give your best service by always serving the people you lead and ensuring that they grow and succeed in all areas. When you do this, you will experience abundance and prosperity in your business, relationships and life in general.

Be a giver! Always seek what you can contribute rather than what is in it for you but look for win-win situations in all your dealing and you will live in endless abundance and prosperity.

2. Let Go of the Past.

You must let go of the past failures, guilt and disappointments.

If you do not, you will be like the proverbial man/woman who is driving his/her life while looking at the back mirror. Don’t let it be you. Always look ahead because people who drive concentrating on the back mirror (i.e. things that have happened in the past) are bound to crash!

Every day we all mess up, we get it wrong and we fail. There is not a single person alive who is proud of everything they have done in the past, but it is the ability to let go of these things daily that empowers us to go out every day and continue to try and achieve abundance and prosperity.

Even Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament, said this:

“I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead”

So now that you know that guilt, failure, disappointments and missed opportunities happen to all of us, please let go and look forward to the things ahead so you can have abundance and prosperity.

3. Be a Person of Integrity

“Let no pleasure tempt thee, no profit allure thee, no persuasion move thee, to do anything which thou knowest to be evil; so shalt thou always live jollity; for a good conscience is a continual Christmas.” Benjamin Franklin

Do you want to live in abundance and prosperity? Then be a person of integrity because the true worth of a man can be measured by their integrity. “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching” – C.S Lewis.

You as an individual would rather deal with people of integrity than people without integrity, right? Then it is important that you work on this and become a person of integrity even when it will cost you something. I strongly believe that the cost of integrity is well worth it compared to the disgrace that may arise from lack of integrity, so choose wisely.

In a world where there are only few people with integrity, it will be great to become one of them. When people discover you, they would want to do business with you, employ you or even help you.

Finally, you want to be happy too, integrity also brings happiness. Here is what Gandhi said about happiness “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” I believe he is also defining integrity here, so be a person of integrity and you will get happiness as a bonus.
